Munters DryCool system is designed to cost-effectively treat 100% outdoor air. It controls humidity and temperature independently, drying or cooling the air on an as-needed basis.
The DryCool system combines the benefits of desiccant dehumidifiers with the cooling of air conditioners and high efficiency chillers to pre-treat outdoor air before it is introduced into a building. The DryCool product operates cost efficiently because the desiccant wheel is regenerated using (free) condenser heat, eliminating the need for natural gas or other external heat sources.
The DryCool product treats 2.000m³/h to 27.000m³/h of air, making it is
flexible for a wide range of applications. The system can work stand alone, or in conjunction with your existing air handlers or energy recovery ventilator (ERV).
Units can be installed indoors or outdoors and include a direct expansion DX or chilled water CHW pre-cooling coils, a desiccant wheel, integrated condensing package, supply fan, reactivation fan and a condensing fan. They can supplement gas or electric heating. Systems can also operate in night setback mode with optional remote monitoring
